If you have ever wondered how to create the
perfect wrestler to role-play then look no further as I am going to try and
help you out. Firstly the most important
thing to think of is a name which is pretty obvious but you wouldn't believe
how many "excutioner's" I have seen who all have the same gimmick.
Well if your wrestler is going to be successful will need an original name.
Emphasize on your own name, add a nickname in between your first and last name
like FIRST NAME "NICKNAME" LAST NAME. If you don't like that
idea for creating your wrestlers name then choose a object or even a material
like, Metal, Silk for a female wrestler/valet or shrapnel. Now
you should think of what you want your wrestlers fighting to be. If you want
to be original don't choose hardcore or extreme. Choose something like
technical or even amature. Along with your fighting style you need to choose a
realistic height and weight. If he's a powerful type wrestler then make him
tall and weigh more than 250 lbs. If he's a high flyer don't make him 7' and
300 lbs as this is just too stupid but people do actually make unrealistic
wrestlers who's attributes don't match there fighting style. Next
up is choosing a gimmick and background. When choosing a gimmick don't choose
a undertaker style gimmick of a mysterious wrestler who comes from the dark
side. And if possible don't choose a background which has your wrestlers
parents being killed and you then run away and learns everything out on the
street as that is a popular background used and gets boring quickly. For a
gimmick try and be original, try and think of something you haven't seen in
wrestling for a while like a wrestler who try's and stops all bad wrestlers
and loves everyone and hates wrestling but can get violent when pushed over
the edge, or a egomaniac who usually stops during a match to pose for the
crowd. For a decent background choose something which suits your wrestlers
fighting style, if he's a technical wrestler give your wrestler a rich
background who went through a very tough wrestling school before being scouted
by a top federation as a young technical wrestler but got injured and had to
take a long period out and then is returning into professional wrestling some
years on looking to prove him self. This
is all I can think of at the current time but I will be returning to this
section soon to improve it. Jamie
