This section will tell you how to create an E-fed, your opinions might vary slightly from mine. You may even think that this is total BS and I respect that but this is what worked for me when creating feds like the WIW and my previous feds.

Firstly you need to decide whether you want to have original or real life wrestlers and cards. I must say after running both you will get more response and better role-players if you use original wrestlers as I don't think I can name a decent e-fed which uses real life wrestlers. You should also use original graphics and shows as this will mean you have put thought into it.

Once you have decided whether the fed is going to be original or not you need to decide what type. Board or E-mail. personally I think there is only ONE fed which has made it big using e-mail. Advantages of using a role-play board are endless as you can include pictures, music and videos, colors and more, using a email format will mean that some people do about 10 short role-plays a day which can get them banned from there email account for spamming. Also if you use email then the role-plays will be boring and plain in black and white colors.

Once you have decided all of that then you can start making your site. First thing you need to do is decide on an attractive color scheme, not only to you but get other people to view your site and give there opinions. DON'T ever use a blue background with red text or vice versa as that will strain any ones eyes. The best color is the simple one of black background with white text as this is the most simple and looks best but you can change the text colors to colors like; red, yellow, blue, purple, gray, or even orange. You need to make the links on the side of the page in a smallish column as it wont take up too much of the page. Next onto graphics which if used well will make your site look incredible or if used badly will spoil your site and make it un-attractive. When making graphics don't use them from cooltext.com or flamingtext.com as the choice is very slim and looks shit. I highly suggest using the FREE GRAPHICS system on this page which I used to make all of the graphics for the WIW network. Don't use too many graphics on any page as they will slow down your loading time to the site and if I go onto a site which takes hours to load up I never go back, so keep it simple when using graphics and never make them too big.

Once you've opened your card you should keep to the golden rule of not letting any member know the results before you release them. Keep your site updated as much as you can and get all cards out on time. If the work load is to much get staff to help you with the running of the fed. They don't have to do everything but believe me when I say you need help if your going to keep your site running. Never have a favorite wrestler in your fed as if you are biased towards him/her then they don't have to be a good role-player and will dominate which can make people very unhappy if they are screwed by the prez.

If you keep to these basic rules then your fed should run smoothly and well gaining new members along the way.
